Words From the Executive Director

As the new Executive Director of Empowering Possibilities Unlimited, Inc., I am excited to be a part of cultivating the youth in the Sacramento region. I believe I bring a fresh and unique perspective to our organization for multiple reasons. First, I have a Master’s degree in Human Resources, and have plans to pursue my doctorate in the future. I am a strong believer that a successful educational career begins at an elementary school level. Second, because my degree is in Human Resources, I run our organization from that perspective- hiring the right people, and giving the people we hire the right training and tools to make them successful. Lastly, my own children are a part of an after school program, and have been for several years. As a parent, I understand the importance of having a safe, fun, enriching place for my children to go after school, so that we continue to work and provide them with the quality of life they deserve. I have recently streamlined our organization’s vision in order to emphasize my focus on providing quality after school programming.
